The LEAD Project

The client’s goal: diversify the leadership of a large union

Compose created a 30-week comprehensive leadership program for select rank-and-file union members, including a three-day in-person technology orientation and community-building event, weekly two-hour online small group classes, and one-on-one tutoring sessions. Participants expand their writing, reading, speaking and technology skills, developing the confidence to lead.

In addition, we developed a continuing education program for all graduates, building on business English skills in five-week workshops, focused on topics including how to run an online meeting and grammar for writing.
